Thie week we got some exciting news from a member of our club.
Jim Nix, who is a lifetime member of the Bluenose Curling Club sucessfully qualified for the 2017 Brier which will be contested in St John's, Newfoundland this coming March. Jim will be skipping a team along with teammates who curl out of Iqaluit, Nunavut.
It was so exciting to hear Jim got his purple heart and we couldn't be prouder of this accomplishment. Join us in giving Jim kudos next time you see him at the club as this is without a doubt a big time achievement! Jim was good enough to send us the heart and crest which will be on his team jacket, and I have included it below.
Jim, congrats, and best of luck in St John's!
